Salvatore Cifone

Salvatore Cifone, EMT, currently serves as the Treasurer on the Marlboro First Aid Squad, Marlboro, New Jersey, a position he has held since early 2020.  Sal achieved his New Jersey State Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2020. Sal recalls the first day he volunteered on the squad. “I was on a CPR call and had not performed CPR in about 10 years since. When I was asked to perform compressions, quickly jumped into action of course thinking of the responsibility that was before me. I worked diligently and after over 20 minutes of compressions, there were signs of life. That is when I realized I made the right decision to volunteer on the Marlboro First Aid Squad. The patient fully recovered.”

Sal has a long history of giving back to others evidenced by his past volunteerism as a Marlboro Soccer Coach and DC??, Marlboro Little League Coach and Manager, Marlboro Basketball Coach, St. Gabriel’s HS Basketball coach and manager and as Coordinator for the Knights Of Columbus.

Sal works at the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NJ as a Real Estate Agent for the past 6 years and at the National Grid.  Account Manager – Customer Connections  for the past 3 months.

Sal holds a BS in Business and Financial Management /Accounting from Brooklyn College and a AAS in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College. He attended Chubb Institute of Technology- Programming  achieving certifications in Microsoft Certified Professional Hyperion Certified Admin, Oracle Certified Admin, SAP implementation Specialist, Microsoft VBA programmer and as a Personal Fitness Trainer.
