Daniel Heitner, EMT

Daniel Heitner, EMT, currently serves as the Director of Budget on the Marlboro First Aid Squad, Marlboro, New Jersey, a position he has held since 2017.  Dan achieved his New Jersey State Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2008 after making a decision that he wanted to help his friends, family, neighbors, and community in their greatest time of need. Dan shared, “To help people in their worst moment is the greatest, most rewarding thing I can do to serve my community. I am proud to say I made the decision to serve others in this manner at the age of 15 and have continued to serve for over 13 years.”

Dan works as a Data Analyst at the Mid-Jersey CARES Regional Early Intervention Collaborative, Central Jersey Family Health Consortium.  He attended Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine achieving a Master of Public Health and a Masters Certificate in Program Management. Dan attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s’ & Gender Studies.  He enjoys hiking and traveling and watching his favorite sport, Soccer in his free time.
